THE LEGEND OF DANGEROUS PETE Here are 10 things you probably didn’t know about guitarist/songwriter/occasional background vocals/bon vivant Dangerous Pete: --He is believed to have been born somewhere in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, date unknown. --Orphaned at an early age, he was raised and home schooled by a family of eastern gray squirrels. --He didn’t learn to speak human until the age of 12. --He studied film history at Harvard University. “My family was right proud of me for that,” he says, “although they dint exactly know what a Harvard or university or film or history was. But they were book lovers. One time, my daddy dragged home a paperback copy of of Erich Segal’s ‘Love Story,’ which he chewed up hisself to pad our nest with, which worked out real good.” --His favorite guitarists include Merle Travis, Eldon Shamblin, Jimmy Bryant, Les Paul, Grady Martin, Scotty Moore, Hank Garland, Cliff Gallup and Link Wray.
